Thank you for considering to buy one of my paintings. Here a some frequently asked questions to help you with your purchase:
Does the image on the website accurately represent what I will be sent?
We aim to provide high quality images on our website, checked and approved by the artist. However, we cannot guarantee that the colour that appears on your screen will always match the colour of the work.
What payment options do you accept?
You can choose to pay by credit/debit card or by Stripe payment processing service. All prices include registered delivery in the UK. Once your order has been processed, we aim to deliver your work of art as soon as possible and within a maximum of a period of 30 days from the day of your order. If we are unable to deliver your artwork within 30 days we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to your right to cancel the order and obtain a refund.
How will my artwork be dispatched? All artwork will be dispatched unframed.
Can I return or cancel my purchase?
If you are not satisfied with the artwork or if it has been damaged upon delivery, then you have 14 days after the date of delivery to cancel your purchase by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is your responsibility to return the work to Chris Alder, 31, Mill Lane, Nether Stowey, TA5 1NL in a safe manner and without causing any damage, at your own expense. You will get a full refund as soon as possible after we receive the returned work, although we reserve the right to deduct a charge to put the work back into the condition it was when sold (if signs of damage or wear and tear after receiving the work of art are visible).
A refund will not apply if any of the following are evident:
- Fair wear and tear
- Wilful damage
- Negligence by you or any third party
- Use otherwise than as recommended by us
- Failure to follow our instructions
- Any alteration or repair carried out without our approval
Can I collect or use my own courier to deliver my work of art?
If you would like to collect or use your own courier to deliver your work of art please inform us through email at email@example.com within 2 days of purchase. We will contact you with further information on when the work will be available for collection. If you elect to use your own courier, the work must be collected from 31, Mill Lane, Nether Stowey, TA5 1NL and delivered to you at your own expense.
